Sorry about that downtime. Someone hacked my server. Unfortunately for him, we had the better exploit, so we hacked it back. Kneel before MORN!

I got stuck in elevator at the mall yesterday. That sucked. We were stuck for an hour until the Fire Dept. came to get us out.

I got nothing for my trouble. That pisses me off.

Man, that must have sucked for everyone stuck in the elevator with you. Did you at least share your smokes?

The time away from PC highlighted the fact that every other site is filled with complete morons.

That, and I'm addicted to PC. (Taps vein, pushes syringe, releases the tourniqet) aaaahhhhh.

I used to be 'with it', but then they changed what 'it' was. Now, what I'm with isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me.

What would Balmer think of his.. what was it, Special Wang Relativity Theory? Truely one of his masterpieces if you ask me. Although it remains troublesome to think him capable of non-trolling work.

And thank goodness PC is back. Every day I checked, always having to run it to the time out dialog just in  case something would respond at the very last second. So lonely.

Holy shit. It appears that somehow our very own, much unbeloved Joker interviewed Steve Ballmer. It's interesting how much of a hole-tonguer Joker's become these days, considering his frothing rants in the old says about how he had to march 10 miles up a mountain each way in order to activate Windows XP.

Yes! Just in time, as I started my final internship yesterday. Hopefully I'll be graduating in january!

And in other news, I found a room! Right smack-dab in the centre of Arnhem (you know, the city from that One Bridge Too Far movie). 28 square meters (which is a lot) and the rent is comparable to what is asked for a 16 square meters room outside the city center. I just got back from signing the contract and receiving the keys, so y'all are invited to my place tonight!

whats the difference between square meters and square feet?  Because my bathroom is like 28 square feet. My house is 2800 square feet. The smallest apartment I ever had was a dive craphole that was still 800 square feet, so 28 square meters is sounding goddamn tiny.

The other two I'm not familiar with. And yes, I agree that American pilsners are crap, which is why I don't drink them. Next argument, please.

Ever try charcoal filtering cheap vodka ala this site?

A friend of mine filtered Skol six times and it wasn't bad at all. Not as good as Ketel One, but I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

Darker does not always mean stronger. It often means the opposite. Newcastle is a not a particularly strong beer, alcohol-wise.

And now, our first* great debate since the site came back online.  Holy shit does this bother me.  We already have the technology to fix this issue for those who desire it (blocking channels, V-chips, etc.), but they don't want that.  They want their beliefs and oppression to be applied to every single man, woman, and child in the nation.  Especially telling is this:

Worried about the bottom line, the cable and satellite industry has responded by launching a campaign to educate parents about available technology, like the V-Chip, that can block certain channels from any single television. The campaign has been opposed by a powerful coterie of family advocacy groups and activists with close ties to major evangelical ministries and the Bush White House.

In other words, it's not about what my kids watch, it's about what YOUR kids are watching.

*Beer isn't a great debate.

True true, but it hits me harder for some reason.  I can drink a Corona, for instance, without feeling it, but a New Castle sticks with me for awhile.

I didn't know that about Corona...  My brother is (or at this point, was) the family alcholic and he drank a fair amount of Corona, so I assumed it wasn't light on the juice.  Interesting.
